Stanley Plastics Ltd – Midhurst, UK
Our facility combines a manufacturing floor area of 15,000sq.ft. Our casting facility has the capacity and technical ability to cast 3500kg of acrylic in one batch. We also have a bespoke tube casting / spinning process that is unique to Stanley Plastics.
Once cast, we have seven autoclaves to cure the acrylic, the largest of which can accept castings of over two meters in diameter. We have a fully equipped machining facility with both conventional and CNC mills and lathes, together with the skilled engineers to operate them.
The polishing and finishing department contains the necessary equipment for our trained staff to finish the products to a very high standard.
Once the casting, machining and polishing departments have completed the necessary tasks, we have the facility, where necessary, to stress relieve the acrylic prior to final inspection and despatch. There are three calibrated air circulation annealing ovens with the capacity to anneal / stress relieve any product that we manufacture.
The last stage of production is the final quality control inspection. Our quality control department has all the necessary skills and calibrated measuring equipment to ensure products meet our customers’ exacting requirements before leaving our facility.
